In Love With Fashion

I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to go to in love with fashion’s first bloggers event over the weekend. I have to say I had a lovely time, with clothes, drinks and doughnuts, you can’t go wrong. It was great to learn more about the brand and how they started out. The talks gave me some inspiration and left me feeling positive about things.


I went to the event with my friend Sarah, who I have mentioned in previous blogs.  We both agreed the new collection is gorgeous. We managed to take a few snaps of the lovely clothes…


The collection is filled with pastel and floral designs, which I feel are a must for any girls summer/spring wardrobe. I love their bold take on the pastel colours. The pieces are simple but very elegant which is what I love about them. I can’t wait to add a few to my wardrobe and wear them when the weather starts to get a little bit warmer. I particularly liked the white floral, halter neck playsuit, which will be perfect for the summer. Its have such beautiful detailing.


The goodie bag was a really nice touch too. I was excited to see what was inside and I wasn’t disappointed. Sassy and Vivid drinks were so delicious and refreshing. A healthy drink to see you through the day. The Propercorn was a pleasant surprise, I hadn’t tried the sweet coconut and vanilla flavour. It was delicious and I have to say better that the traditional sweet popcorn.  I love Barry M nail varnish and this bright orange will be perfect splash of colour in the summer months, especially with a golden tan. ooh I can’t wait for summer. I also love this Bits & Bows bracelet, I think is so quirky and cute. The fake eyelashes will be perfect for my next night out,I haven’t actually tried these ones so I am excited to give them a go.

So overall I have a really nice weekend. I would like to thank the in love with fashion girls for letting me attend the event and I can’t wait for the next one.

Sunday Baking: Coconut Macaroons

 Yummy Coconut Macaroons

• 2 medium egg whites
• 150g of caster sugar
• 150-175g of grated coconut
• 5 teaspoons of smooth applesauce

line a baking tray with a baking sheet and preheat the over to gas mark 4



1. Put all of the ingredients together in a pan. Mix together well on a low-medium heat. Stir frequently until it is mixed well and warmed through. If the mixture looks too wet add flour until the mixture is thick enough consistency to mold into individual portions.



2. Take the saucepan off the heat. Once the mixture has cooled down enough to be handled, take teaspoon sizes of the mixture and place on the baking tray.



3. Place in the oven and let them bake for 15-20 minutes, until they change to a light golden colour.



4. leave them to cool and then tuck in to a yummy treat

I do love coconut. I haven't cooked properly in a long time and cooking these reminded me of how much I enjoy cooking little treats I should really do it more. This is what Sunday are made for, cooking and relaxing.
